Storm Babet update

Storm Babet the second named storm of the season arrived in Dundee a matter of weeks after Storm Agnes.
Widescale flooding and uprooted trees have been reported throughout the city and the clear up is still continuing.
The event has reminded us all about the extremely unpredictable Scottish weather.

New Build properties are most vulnerable

New housing developments on potentially vulnerable areas were worst affected.
Between 4 September 2009 and 1 November 2009 the same locations were affected following flooding of the Dighty Water, Fithie Burn, Murrows and Gelly Burn watercourses.
